A ripple of kindness and giving can become a wave of generosity powerful enough to connect communities and feed the hungry. That’s why Zeta Global joined with #HashtagLunchbag this week to assemble and distribute hand-made meals—with a special twist!
On Wednesday, October 10, Zeta Global team members across US locations gathered to make tasty bagged lunches. Included with each meal was a personal, hand-written note from a Zeta employee—the signature ‘secret ingredient’ of the #HashtagLunchbag program.
#HashtagLunchbag is ‘a humanity service movement dedicated to empowering and inspiring humanity to reap the benefits of giving through the use of social media.’ The organization is known for its Lunchbag events where participants create meals and give to those in need. It’s a powerful example of how dedicated groups of people working in their communities can make a big impact by one small act of kindness at a time.
5 Zeta Global offices participated in the event this year, distributing over 950 meals in their local areas.
Zeta employees in India were also active, organizing the ZetaCares Food Fest – a fundraising event to support the education and care of about 100 orphan children in the SOS Children’s Village.
“We have all been so blessed at Zeta,” said David A. Steinberg, CEO of Zeta Global. “This is a great and unique opportunity for us to help give back to the communities in which we live and work.”
This event was just the latest initiative of ZetaCares, Zeta Global’s philanthropic initiative to make a positive impact around the world. Learn more about our mission and the Zeta Way here.
