Today, we’re excited to announce the acquisition of Nudgespot Technologies. We first partnered with Nudgespot nearly a year ago and have been impressed with their technology and team ever since. The founders of Nudgespot recognized that the way marketers communicate with their customers is fundamentally changing and they set out to build a marketing platform with two way real time messaging at its core.
This partnership has been an exciting journey and this acquisition is just the beginning — we are changing the way marketers understand and communicate with their customers.
Who is Nudgespot
Nudgespot allows businesses to truly connect and create great customer journeys through contextual and relevant two way communication. Their flagship product, Messenger, allows businesses to have real-time conversations with their customers. It’s like a chat app, except smarter and designed for marketers.
Raveen Sastry, co-founder and CEO of Nudgespot, was previously a founder of Myntra Design Pvt Ltd, which was acquired in 2014 by Flipkart for $330M.
Aligned Product strategies
Boomtrain’s product strategy is to use AI to make every marketing communication more individualized and more relevant to the recipient. Combined with Boomtrain’s core AI platform, Boomtrain messenger gives marketers the ability to incorporate multi-channel chat functionality to facilitate two way, scalable conversations with their customers. The conversations can be initiated by specific triggers based on user activities.

It’s about a global business
Together, Boomtrain and Nudgespot will have 70 people in offices located in San Francisco and Bangalore, expanding our APAC business and our global footprint. Bangalore, a booming tech hub in India, will be our headquarters for our Asia Pacific expansions, supporting cross-functional teams: marketing, sales, product and engineering.
